IMS Company developed the ResQ Cart to save shops time and effort when switching molds, fixing a press, or performing other general shop maintenance, with unique features designed to fit a molder's everyday needs.
IMS Company announces its latest development for the industrial plastic molding industry: The IMS ResQ Cart. Specifically designed to be a plastic processor's go-to tool cart, it is constructed with a practical layout including many industry-based features to promote worksite efficiency as well as ease of use. The ResQ Cart is built to last with heavy-duty steel, 5" swivel/locking casters, and a sturdy work table with a holding capacity of 350lbs, making this cart a must have for any plastic molding shop.
Designed as a four-layered shelving system with high side-walls and rubber coated surfaces to keep tools and parts in place, the IMS ResQ Cart facilitates access and storage of critical components needed to fix, plumb, set-up, or switch a run. Each shelf is large enough to hold molding tools and parts, with plenty of additional space for items such as bulk containers, testing equipment, or press-specific tool boxes. And with the secure workspace table strategically sized, shop floor space is utilized more effectively while maximizing overall cart mobility.
The ResQ Cart contains multiple industry-specific features that set it apart from other generic tool carts, the most notable feature being its hanging waterline hose mounts. These female NPT threaded mounts allow quick installation of various sized quick disconnect plugs to the unit. This allows for faster connection and retrieval of pre-sized hose pieces with installed couplers. Furthermore, guide bars mounted on both sides of the unit help keep hoses organized and contained within the cart for secure storage and transportation. At the bottom, large shelf side walls contain any spills from left over fluids in the hosing, facilitating safe disposal.
In addition to hose mounts, a removable metal tray insert designed to hold and organize nozzle tips, re-facing tools, and other smaller molding parts, is included with the unit and can be rearranged to any of the tray levels, depending on the user's preference. Also supplied are built-in canister holders for commonly used mold cleaners, protectants, or releases, as well as notches in the lower cart supports to efficiently store and use reels of hose or wire using support rods.
The IMS ResQ Cart is designed to save shops time and effort when switching out molds, fixing a press, or generally servicing a unit. When a press is down, money is not being made. The addition of the ResQ Cart is just one of the many ways IMS Company helps enable higher efficiency and increased press uptime.
